Two men fighting. A setup that drives countless fictional stories, and one which Tiger Mask W delivers in spades. I used to watch WWE in the past with my little brother, so I really enjoy seeing this again. The ROCK, JOHN CENA, KANE, AND THE UNDERTAKER. Continue reading
Picking off from Season 1, season 2 is virtually the exact same story concept involving a half shinigami boy who survives off of literal pocket change and his cool and collected female classmate, Sakura, dealing with various events and happenings involving the real world and the afterlife. There are new characters introduced in the form of Renge and Matsugo, as well as the two kuroneko contractors of Kain and Ageha, Oboro and Suzu respectively. Continue reading
When a strange girl named Guri comes knocking at Seiji Aino’s door, he quickly finds himself thrust into a world of romantic troubles. Claiming that she will die if he doesn’t kiss someone within 24 hours, Guri’s pleas of desperation are misunderstood as pleas for love, leading Seiji to kiss the cute stranger that came barging into his house. In actuality, it turns out that this cosplaying cupid is the wielder of a Kiss Note, in which any pairing of names she writes will kiss and become a couple. Guri explains that she misspelt and accidentally wrote Seiji’s name while indulging in her yaoi fantasies, but because she had yet to pair him with anyone, their kiss was meaningless. Even worse, Guri reveals that if Seiji is not coupled with anyone soon, not only will she die, but Seiji will remain a virgin for eternity! Continue reading
I don’t feel guilty for liking this show even if there are incest undertones with this show, but Elf- sensei is the best girl to me. The characters are so cute, and the story resonates with a lot of otakus out there who has a dream in an anime related field. The story is quite similar to My Sister can’t be This Cute. But I hope it doesn’t follow the same trash ending of through.
So these are the main points of the story:
- Somewhat trope-filling and eccentric characters
- Cutesy moe-style heroines
- Frequent suggestive shots of various middle school girls
- An abundance of rom-com cliches and sexual gags.
This is a spin-off of Danmachi, focusing on the sword-princess, Ais and the Loki familia. We get to see a new side to Ais and see her motivation to be an adventure. Continue reading
“Edutainment” series, ones that both exist to teach and to entertain, are something not everyone enjoys. I think Time Travel Shoujo is the strongest Edutainment series I’ve seen to date, and could still be something those that generally don’t care for them would enjoy. This is Bill Nye of anime. “I want to put my life on the line to live.” Best quote of 2017
– Tsukushi Tsukamoto
This is how you should aim to live your life, some may say that Tsukushi Tsukamoto is an idiot that doesn’t understand his limits, but he is my hero
Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru (or Konobi for short) is a perfect example of an anime which technically doesn’t do anything particularly different from your average rom-com, but it accomplishes what modest goals it has with flying colours. We have a standard middle school club setting and barely any plot development to speak of; the show is simply about the everyday events the characters experience in their lives, and their interactions with each other. No more, no less. But with characters as interesting and likeable as these and some good laughs to go with them, that’s really all you need to still deliver a very funny and entertaining anime.
So what happens when you put cute girls together in a ping pong sport club? Well you get a pretty intensive sport anime. Continue reading
