Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru (or Konobi for short) is a perfect example of an anime which technically doesn’t do anything particularly different from your average rom-com, but it accomplishes what modest goals it has with flying colours. We have a standard middle school club setting and barely any plot development to speak of; the show is simply about the everyday events the characters experience in their lives, and their interactions with each other. No more, no less. But with characters as interesting and likeable as these and some good laughs to go with them, that’s really all you need to still deliver a very funny and entertaining anime.

For the most part, I really enjoyed it. Few animated movies, much less Japanese ones, focus on families, so that aspect alone of the film is awesome. Natsuki’s large, colourful family nearly carry the movie themselves, especially her great-grandmother. Also, the world of OZ is flat-out gorgeous, filled with colourful, appealing avatars and backdrops. Continue reading
Kaiba’s a bad ass the movie is the real name of this movie
Kaiba isn’t in denial of magic anymore and we get to see this in movie, but what’s more is that we see him missing his greatest rival. His passion to defeat his rival is so great that he invents the worlds most advanced holographic systems in through the a statelight in space and then even later on, breaks the barrier between dimensions just to play a card game.
